Today, the intensive “Rangers” training, held at the Kosovo Security Force barracks in Gjakova, was successfully concluded, where members of the Kosovo Police and KSF soldiers have been training together for several weeks.
Members of the elite units of the Kosovo Police, including the Kosovo Police Special Operations Unit, the Kosovo Police Special Operations Unit and the Kosovo Police Special Operations Unit – Close Protection, participated in this training, while the program was held from May 3 to 26.
In this regard, around 46 members of the Kosovo Police were certified today after successfully completing all phases of training.
The “Rangers” program is considered one of the most difficult and intensive trainings for security structures, as it includes advanced tactical exercises, physical challenges, long marches, field survival, and operational coordination.
During the training, KSF police officers and soldiers conducted joint exercises, increasing cooperation and readiness between security institutions in Kosovo.
At the graduation ceremony held today, participants who successfully passed all tests and phases of the program were awarded certificates for completing the “Rangers” training.
